Yaroslav Kofman is originally from the Ukraine and immigrated to San Francisco with his family as a Jewish Soviet refugee in 1989. He became interested in Social Documentary when studying with Acadamy Award nominated fimmaker Renee Tajima-Peña at the University of California in Santa Cruz. He holds a degree in Film and Digital Media. You can see his work on the Vegas Strip (Koi Las Vegas), MTV and international outlets. He has worked with the Travel Channel, Hugh Hefner, Jared Leto, Kim Kardashian and Forever 21 to name a few. Recently, he conducted video training workshops for the Travel Channel Academy and Radio Free Europe in Prague.
